Founder of Factory Records and The Hacienda Club in Manchester, Anthony Wilson's TV career has also been a long and varied one. In the seventies “So It Goes” gave TV debuts to the likes of The Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello and The Jam. Not to be outdone, his late night arts show “The Other Side of Midnight” (Granada TV) debuted The Stone Roses, 808 State and The Happy Mondays.

Tony Wilson has filmed a cult regional sports talk show, “The Sport Exchange”, a populist culture show, “The Works” (which returns for a third series this summer) and an experimental arts show for the ITV network called “Content”.

The film, “24 hour party people” by Michael Winterbottom and Frank Cottrell-boyce, the story of Factory Records and The Hacienda received rave reviews.(www.partypeoplemovie.com)

Tony hosts two BBC GMR shows, "Ground Rules", a one hour sports show on Friday 6.30-7.30pm and "Talk of the Town", a Saturday lunch show (11am-1pm)....
