Tom Salinsky
Tom Salinsky
Tom began improvising in 1995 and hasn't stopped since. He worked with improvisation guru Keith Johnstone in Canada and San Francisco in 1997, and has taught improvisation to great acclaim in cities across the world.

Tom is the artistic director of innovative improvisation company The Spontaneity Shop. Their improvised romantic comedy "Dreamdate" has just completed a pilot for ITV and a series is expected to be commissioned very soon.

In addition to "DreamDate", Tom has created or co-created a number of innovative improvisation formats including "TellTales", "Perfect Pitch", and "Imagination". With The Spontaneity Shop, he has performed at The Hackney Empire (with Jonathan Pryce, Tony Slattery, Phelim McDermott and others), The Bloomsbury Theatre (with an international cast of improvisers), and at The Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh. His text-based acting ranges from sketch comedy to Shakespeare, and also includes his own one-man show about his terrible fear of dancing - "My Two Left Feet".

Tom was also Editor of online satirical website The Brains Trust, a writer on Radio 4's "Weekending" and has also written comedy material for a variety of corporate presentations and sketch shows.
